This panorama spotlights the opening tip-off between the nation's top two men's college basketball teams, as they competed to win the biggest game of the 2016-17 season - the 79th edition of the Division I Men's National Championship game at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. In front of a crowd of 76,168 basketball enthusiasts, the North Carolina Tar Heels™ defeated the Gonzaga Bulldogs™ for the program's sixth national title, ultimately securing the redemption the team waited an entire year to celebrate. This was UNC coach Roy Williams' third national title, placing him in an elite group as one of only six Division I men's basketball coaches with three or more titles.
